Audit pack we issue
Documents your audit team can expect when applicable to the engagement.
- Pickup receipt
- Weight record
- Certificate of Data Destruction
- Recycling report (when issued)
We do not currently claim CPCB-registered PRO issuance of EPR certificates, R2v3, or a downloadable CPCB authorisation PDF.

Plant & state consents
BSPCB Consent to Establish and Consent to Operate for the Barun plant (25 MT/day). Prefer “BSPCB Consent to Operate — e-waste recycling plant, Bihar” over vague “government certified.” These documents are not published on the site — they include personal details of the promoters and are shared on request.

Built for Indian enterprise procurement
Framing that matches how InfoSec and procurement teams evaluate ITAD vendors — without inventing regulator endorsements.
E-Waste Rules 2022
Bulk-consumer / enterprise channels with plant-backed recycling — not informal scrap. Authorisations we publish are listed above. We are not marketing as a CPCB-registered PRO.
DPDP Act 2023 — erasure and disposal evidence
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Data Principals may request erasure of personal data, and Data Fiduciaries must erase data that is no longer needed for the specified purpose — including causing Data Processors to erase it. When personal data resides on retired IT assets, secure sanitization or destruction plus documentation is how many organisations evidence disposal.
- USH issues Certificate of Data Destruction (serials or batch as agreed) — evidence for your file
- We do not issue a “DPDP certificate” or claim DPDP certification
- Method selection follows your policy and NIST SP 800-88 language
NIST SP 800-88 — Clear, Purge, Destroy
NIST Special Publication 800-88 Rev. 1 defines media sanitization categories used worldwide in ITAD programmes. We use this vocabulary with buyers and auditors; exact techniques for each media type are confirmed at assessment.
- Clear — protect against simple non-invasive recovery
- Purge — protect against laboratory recovery techniques
- Destroy — physical destruction; media cannot be reused as storage
BARC technology transfer
Letter TT&CD/E-Waste/VKU/2023/3042 (7 Sep 2023) confirms licensed know-how for high-purity CuO recovery from depopulated PCBs [EG22MP&CED]. Allowed wording: “BARC technology transfer / licensed know-how.” Forbidden: “BARC certified recycler.”
Download letter →What we’re not claiming yet
- • R2v3 (SERI) — not held; no logo
- • CPCB-registered PRO — not marketed
- • CPCB recycler authorisation PDF — publish when filed
Confident and honest — these absences are intentional, not omissions to hide.
FAQ
- Can we download your ISO certificates?
- Yes — images of the issued certificates (with certificate numbers) are on this page. Verify at www.qrocert.org.
- Why not the older iso-*.pdf files?
- Those drafts show “Certificate Number: Draft.” We publish the issued finals until QRO provides clean digital PDFs.
- Are you CPCB authorised?
- We operate under BSPCB plant consents and ISO-certified systems. We will publish CPCB e-waste authorisation when the PDF is on file.
- Do you issue EPR certificates?
- We are not marketing as a CPCB-registered PRO. Documentation for recycler engagements is listed under Audit pack.
- Does ISO 27001 cover data destruction?
- Yes — Cert # 305026010396IS scope includes information security related to e-waste management services including data destruction.
- What about OHSAS 18001?
- We use ISO 45001:2018 — do not list OHSAS.
- Is BARC a certification?
- No — it is a Government of India / BARC technology-transfer confirmation for specific recovery know-how.
